Research

Descriptive and exploratory program evaluation to understand how participants experience Institute programs.

The Institute conducts descriptive and exploratory program evaluation as part of its commitment to understanding how its programs affect participants. This work is not clinical research and does not constitute proof of efficacy, treatment recommendations, or medical evidence.

Our evaluation approach uses validated self-report instruments, longitudinal measurement across program timepoints, and structured data collection. Findings are participant-reported and descriptive only.

Research Interests

  • Coherence and Regulation Framework — how participants experience the framework in practice
  • Nervous system regulation — self-reported changes in stress, sleep, energy, and related domains
  • Program evaluation — longitudinal measurement of participant-reported outcomes across program timepoints
  • Measurement methodology — developing and refining instruments appropriate for the Institute's programs

Our Evaluation Approach

The Institute uses a structured measurement approach for program evaluation. Participants complete self-report assessments at defined timepoints — typically Baseline, Week 1, Week 2, Week 3, and Completion. Each assessment covers domains such as perceived stress, sleep quality, energy, emotional regulation, and overall well-being.

Data is collected under informed consent, stored securely, and analyzed descriptively. We do not make causal claims from this data. Findings are used internally to understand program experience and inform curriculum development.

Research Philosophy

The Institute approaches research with intellectual humility. We are interested in understanding what participants experience — not in proving that our programs produce specific outcomes. Our evaluation work is exploratory and descriptive.

We believe that honest, careful measurement — even at small scale — is more valuable than overclaiming. Pilot findings are shared transparently, with appropriate caveats about sample size, methodology, and the limits of self-report data.
